Test Emergency

Test Emergency

Kapi‘olani CC; this is a TEST of the UH Alert campus-wide, emergency notification system in conjunction with a functional exercise being conducted by the Campus Crisis Management Team (CCMT).

In an actual emergency, you will be provided with initial incident information and instructions, updates, and end-of-incident notifications via emergency email broadcast such as this additional information will be conveyed via person-to-person communication (from designated campus staff), the Kapi‘olani CC home page at www.kapiolani.hawaii.edu, Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/KapiolaniCommunityCollege, and Twitter at https://twitter.com/uhkapiolani.

Tests of the UH Alert System (both SMS/text and emergency email) are conducted at least twice a year (generally at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters).  If you have signed up to receive UH Alert System and did not receive today’s messages, send an email to em-info@lists.hawaii.edu.  Also refer to the “UH Alert Troubleshooting” article at http://www.hawaii.edu/askus/1363 for additional recommendations.

Thank you for your participation and commitment to campus public safety!
