ATI TEAS Exam

The Assessment Technologies Institute-Test of Essential Academic Skills (ATI-TEAS) exam is an admissions requirement for the Practical Nursing (PRCN) Program, LPN-RN Transition (TRANS) Program, and the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Program

The Kapiʻolani CC Practical Nursing (PRCN) Program requires an ATI-TEAS exam total score of 60% or higher. The Kapiʻolani CC LPN-RN Transition Program and the Kapiʻolani CC Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Program require an ATI-TEAS exam total score of 65% or higher. Results are affirmed immediately after completing the computer-based test. The exam score remains current for three years. The exam may be retaken every 90 days. The higher score will be used if taken more than once. For updates on the ATI TEAS exam, pre-nursing students are encouraged to attend a nursing information session or visit with a nursing program counselor during walk-in advising periods.
