Alani Fall 2020 Online Lab Program

The Online Lab Program

In response to families who have opted to keep their children at home during this time of COVID-19, we are providing an online lab program at a reduced tuition rate.  We acknowledge the immense challenges families are facing ensuring the safety of their children (by keeping them home) while also providing them full-time care and fulfilling their own work and academic responsibilities.  This program is designed with these parents in mind.

What It Looks Like

  • Initial Interview. Upon enrollment, your family will be interviewed to get a clear sense of the needs and interests of your child and family situation.
  • Individualized Child and Family Plans & weekly check-ins. The interview allows us to develop individualized child and family plans that meet your child’s developmental needs and are effective and impactful.  We will set up regular points of contact to ensure the program is meeting your child’s and family’s needs every week.
  • Online library of resources.  Based on your child’s plan, online resources will be created and shared with your family.  These resources can range from support with engaging and impactful learning activities, managing intense emotions, establishing naptime routines, and anything that comes up in our weekly check-ins.
  • Online community for peer interaction. While we believe nothing can replace in-person interaction for young children, we realize the limitations COVID-19 has brought upon us for these interactions.  We want to support children by finding creative ways to forge bonds with their peers online.  We will organize and facilitate group sessions that foster relationship-building, meaningful group learning experiences, and social connection between children and families.
