Online Learning

We offer a variety of online classes and academic pathways. To register in an online class, you must first be admitted as a student at Kapiʻolani Community College or within the UH system.

Kapiʻolani Community College (Kapiʻolani CC) offers nearly 200 online classes each semester in a wide range of subjects. Any student can take an online class. An online class might be right for you if you want or need a flexible school schedule, know how to study independently, and have enough self-discipline to involve yourself in the course. Our online teachers look forward to working with you!

Not sure if Distance Learning (DL) is for you? Take our online Distance Learning Self-Assessment (module coming soon).

To take a DL class, you must first apply for admission to Kapiʻolani Community College. After you’ve been admitted as a student, you can then register for the classes. Information on admission and enrollment services can be found on the links below.
