Registration Details

MyUH Portal will be retiring as of April 4, 2017, so students will be completing the entire registration process via their www.star.hawaii.edu account!

Register with STAR

Make sure you’re ready to register:

Returning Students, be sure:

  1. You know your registration dates.
  2. You’ve cleared any holds (for financial holds, check with the cashier’s office, for academic holds, check with your counselor.
  3. You are in the right major and concentration – your declared major/concentration will dictate which courses you need to take to fulfill the rest of the requirements for your program. If you are in the wrong major, you will not be able to see the courses for your (intended) major unless you do a “What If” Journey. It’s best to be in the right major and concentration so you know you’re on the right track!
  4. If your major is noted as “unclassified,” you will need to select your courses by “Personal Choice” or run a “What If Journey” since unclassified students do not have any pre-designated pathways. Please see a counselor if you have any questions.

  1. You have a UH username and password.
  2. You’ve submitted your Health Clearance Forms.
  3. You’ve taken your placement tests at the testing center.
  4. You’ve completed NSO I.
