GUEST LECTURE SERIES ~ C.A.R.E.–Compassion, Appreciation, Respect, Engagement
- 12:30-1:30 pm in Lama 207-A “I KNOW YOU CARE” with Veronica Ogata ~ Please bring your lunch and join in a talk story session about building and strengthening a campus culture of Compassion, Appreciation, Respect and Engagement (C.A.R.E.), which starts with ourselves. We’ll reflect, discuss, and learn from one another what we do in our everyday lives that demonstrates C.A.R.E and the ways in which we “pay it forward.”
- 2:00-3:00 pm in Char Room (2nd Floor, Lama) “MOVING LOVE TO COMPASSION” with Robin Fujikawa ~ Robin’ s inspiration and field of investigation is a Thirteenth Century Japanese philosopher, Dōgen. Two MAs, four years training at a Zen monastery, and one PhD were instrumental in this study. Robin was once a teacher at KapCC.
