Class participants are required to come to Kapi’olani Community College to take the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam on Monday, December 10, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in Ohi’a 118. You must have the official ServSafe scantron answer sheet found inside the front cover of the ServSafe Coursebook. The scantron sheet is available at the KCC bookstore if you have a used book.


We are using the hard copy "in person" exam which requires the ServSafe scantron.

Also, for those who do not wish to submit a video of themselves completing competencies 1, 3, 9 & 10, there will be time after the exam to complete those competencies in person.
Please refer to the syllabus (when posted) for the ServSafe Exam date and other important information.

To be successful in this class the student must:
1. Be proficient in computer competency skills including, but not limited to, file upload & download, email, Laulima, research & online testing
2. Have a reliable computer with a reliable internet connection
3. Access to word processing programs
4. View the lesson videos, read the book and complete all of the competencies, assignments, quizzes & tests.
