ICS 100: Computing Literacy and Apps

Recommended Preparation: Keyboarding; basic computer use; qualification for ENG 22 or ESOL 94; qualification for MATH 82 or higher-level mathematic course.

This ICS 100 class section (CRN 34004) is conducted on the Internet. Please check your MYUH portal account regularly for any UH system announcements or emails. Instructor will email students regarding course requirements and materials before the start of instruction.

Students are required to use Microsoft Office 2016 and Windows 10 and have a basic familiarity with the Internet.

ICS 100 does NOT meet the requirements for Shidler College of Business (UHM), College of Business at Hilo (UHH), or School of Travel Industry Management (TIM); therefore, if you need to meet this requirement, consider enrolling in ICS 101.

MylTLab is a required tutorial and homework application for this course. A license for its use is included with each NEW textbook purchased. Students buying a used text or ordering one online which does not include the license will be required to purchase the program.
