Prerequisite(s): A grade of "C" or higher in MATH 82 or qualification for MATH 103.
Recommended Preparation: Qualification for ENG 100 or qualification for ESL 100.
Comment: A scientific calculator is required.
Students who have previously received a grade of "C" or higher in MATH 25 may also register for this class.
This MATH 103 class section (CRN 34593) is conducted online. Please check your hawaii.edu email account regularly for course notifications and email the instructor as needed for additional information. Go to http://go.hawaii.edu/fP7 to help you decide if an online class is right for you. To take an online class, you need regular access to a recent model desktop or laptop and high-speed Internet.
Students will also need webcam, speakers, and a microphone usually included in a laptop. Also a device that will allow them to take good photos to upload their homework solutions as pdf files.
This class requires some time-specific class activity; these time-specific session(s) will take place on TR 3:30-4:30 pm.
This class requires approximately three proctered exams which may be taken at any authorized tesing center.
