Recommended Preparation: Credit in or qualification for ENG 100 or credit in or qualification for ESL 100.

Comment: Effective Fall 2019 LAW 101 has been approved for use as an elective for the Associate in Arts degree in Liberal Arts and the various AA Liberal Arts concentrations, as well as the Associate in Arts degree in Hawaiian Studies.

This LAW 101 class section (CRN 31842) is taught online with learning activities and course work delivered via the Internet. There are no specific times for meetings; students can complete the weekly modules at any time during each specific week. Students must have regular/reliable access to a computer and connection to the Internet. Students must check Laulima and University of Hawaii email several times a week. There is one proctored final exam that can be taken for free on campus or for a small fee via ProctorU.
