Login to your Star account using your UH username and password
On the Academic Essentials page, please confirm that you are in the RIGHT major and concentration. If not, please see your counselor and/or submit a Change of Major form
Click on the GPS Registration tab. After confirming that your Graduation Pathway is optimized for your current (and potentially transfer) degree, click the Register link at the top of your intended semester
A STAR Video help page will appear next. If this is your first time registering through STAR, you may want to watch the videos. Once you’ve familiarized yourself with STAR registration, you may select Continue to Registration.
A pre-registration checklist may appear if you have registration issues to resolve. Accept the Terms of Registration, update your student information, and clear any holds if necessary.
Once in the STAR GPS Registration page, click Select a Course for the Requirement to begin your registration.
Once you’ve selected all of your classes for the semester, make sure to click on the “SUBMIT REGISTRATION” button to confirm your registration.
Once submitted, you will see your tuition charges in the upper right-hand corner. You may select to “Make Payment” or may choose to sign up for a payment plan via MyUH Services – Pay Tuition and Fees.
Select the menu drop down on the right to see your options to purchase only the books needed for your courses, add your schedule to your calendar or print it out.
