Euphorbiaceae | Cactus
Tropical Asia (India)
3-6 meter height with
stems about 5 centimeters wide
This plant creates a good, thick hedge and is also used medicinally for warts and tumors. It is also used as an ornamental plant.
Referred to as the “Popcorn Cactus,” the Euphorbia lactea resides in the cactus garden and the light green ‘pods’ on the trees often pop off and fall to the ground. Although it is thought of as a cactus, the Euphorbia lactea is actually a succulent.
