When: Friday, April 4, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Where: Kapi‘olani Community College campus on the Great Lawn, Cafeteria, and classrooms
Participating Health Education Programs: Dental Assisting, Emergency Medical Services, Medical Assisting, Medical Laboratory Technician, Nursing, Occupational Therapy Assisting, Physical Therapist Assisting, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Massage Therapy & Surgery Technician
What: Interactive health and wellness demonstrations by Kapi‘olani Community College health education students presented in a health fair format.
Presentations will run continuously in tents on the great lawn and various classrooms. Students will be escorted through the demonstration stations in groups by Kapi‘olani Community College student ambassador guides.
Outcomes: Students will explore potential health care careers, and learn about how to improve their own health and wellness.
