Career Exploration and Transfer Fair

The Maida Kamber Center will be hosting the annual Career Exploration and Transfer Fair on March 9–11 from 10 AM -1 PM in the Ohi‘a Cafeteria. This year, the fair will take place over three days, with a focus on career pathways and majors related to these pathways. This is a great opportunity for students to explore careers and learn more about transfer opportunities to four-year colleges and universities. Over 30 advisors and admissions representatives will be available to answer career and transfer questions.     Identify careers or career clusters that reflect your interests, abilities, and values
  • Academic Advising
    Develop an academic plan with the courses you will take each semester through graduation
  • Transfer Advising
    Prepare for transfer to a four-year college or university
  • Personal Concerns
    Assist in resolving problems that are interfering with your ability to concentrate and complete your assignments, including referrals to resources to support your academic and personal success.

Monday, April 13 – 36 or more earned credits
Tuesday, April 14 – 24 to 35 earned credits
Wednesday, April 15 – 18 to 23 earned credits
Thursday, April 16 – 6 to 17 earned credits
Friday, April 17 – 0 to 5 earned credits

Are you considering applying to the New Media Arts program in either Interface Design or Animation?  The application deadline is Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 4 PM (HST).

National College Fair

Are you interested in transferring to a university outside of Hawai‘i? Please plan to visit the National College Fair at the Hawai‘i Convention Center on Thursday, April 16 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. College representatives will be available to speak with students from across the United States. This is a great opportunity to learn more about various programs, majors, and different college environments.
