A new version!

Welcome to our Kapi‘olani Community College (KCC) Mobile App family! With 2017 in the rear view mirror, we leave behind a memorable year of firsts and some memories we’ll gladly forget. It’s hard to believe our little KCC Mobile App is two years old! After a long period of programming and development, we stressed each day leading up to its release, desperately hoping a few students might find our hard work promising enough to give it a try. We were a collective nervous wreck when our efforts finally appeared for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play. But today we couldn’t be more proud to see thousands of you using the KCC Mobile App for everyday tasks from searching for classes to locating your professor’s office. And now, we have some really exciting news!

We are proud to announce that the new KCC Mobile App version 2.0 is now available for download! It’s better, stronger, faster and includes some exciting new features we just couldn’t wait to unveil!

  • Bulletin Board – With last semester in the past, you might have some used textbooks gathering dust. Find a buyer here! Want to seek out fellow students to create a study group for that upcoming mid-term? Looking to find a buyer for that bicycle you no longer use? The App v2.0 features a Bulletin Board allowing you to post your messages quickly and easily! Whether personal or school related, this is your space to get your message out there. Just keep in mind that your posts are NOT anonymous. So, keep them clean and civil.
  • Bus Schedules – We know how frustrating it can be when running to catch a bus to class, you see it driving away from the bus stop. You could have sworn you were early this time!  The App v2.0 now lists TheBus routes and schedules to help you get your commuter life under control. Learn when to catch your bus at the nearest stop while helping to minimize the carbon footprint.
  • MyBill – Paying your student bills probably isn’t super high on your “fun things about college” list. But one way to avoid the stress is to keep up to date and plan ahead. Now you can check the MyBill section of the App to see if you’ve got any outstanding bills in your student account. Your parents will be proud of your financial responsibility, and you can keep the App as your own little secret weapon!
