Fifteen KapCC Information Technology students competed over 2 Saturdays in the National Cyber League (NCL) student cybersecurity competition. With over 1000 2- and 4-year college and university students competing nationwide in 3 different skill brackets and 3 conferences, KapCC students placed at 5th, 18th, 25th, and 40th in the most difficult bracket of the Western conference. The NCL is a capture-the-flag competition. Students earn points for solving cybersecurity puzzles and problems. Nine of these same students are currently forming a team to compete in the team phase of the NCL competition coming up this month. Good luck to them!
