Over 60 Scholarships. Only 1 Common Application
Kapi‘olani Community College (KCC) administered over 60 different types of scholarships, but students only need to fill out one common scholarship application. Thanks to the generosity of private individuals and organizations who wish to reward students for a wide variety of accomplishments, including, but not limited to, academic achievement, service to the school and community, leadership ability, first-generation college-going, and specific major and career choices. This UH System Common Scholarship Application is made available in December and the APPLICATION DEADLINE is MARCH 1st. Criteria for selection vary depending on the area of study. In general, scholarships are awarded on the basis of financial need, not necessarily as defined by federal guidelines, to continuing students only.
