Planning ahead is the key to a successful transition. Here are some ideas to think about and answers you will find at Transfer Day.
Top 5 Things to Consider When Transferring:
Financial Aid & Scholarships
Different campuses have different tuition rates. Check-in with the Financial Aid booth if you have questions about funding your education.
Your Individual Interests
Does the degree you have chosen fit your personal, educational, and life goals? Not sure? Inquire how the RIASEC survey can possibly help you narrow your choices, based on your specific interests. And, inquire if the degree you have chosen is offered at your future campus.
The Application Process
What are the deadlines to apply to your future campus? What are the application materials needed (transcripts? Health records?) Check if the bachelor degree program you seek has any additional deadlines that you need to meet.
Connect with Your Future Campus
This is the best time to see an advisor or counselor if you have any questions.
Apply on Time
When you have made a decision on your future campus, act right away! It’s okay to procrastinate…just do it later!
