UH Transfer Day

UH Transfer Day

There are many routes to a bachelor’s degree, and the “auto-admission” route from a community college to a four-year university is just one of the most seamless and easiest option for a University of Hawai‘i student. Thousands of UH community college students have just received letters offering an auto-admission option to attend a four-year UH campus for Fall 2018. These students, who are on track to graduate with an associate’s degree in May, were offered a quick and easy way to apply to UH Manoa, Hilo or West O‘ahu with no application fee attached.

To encourage more students to transfer, the four-year campuses and community colleges are presenting UH Transfer Day from Feb. 12-22, a one-stop-shop event at each community college to answer questions, offer guidance and provide ample opportunities to learn more about the transfer process and baccalaureate programs.

Kapi‘olani Community College will be hosting our UH Transfer day on Feb 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30pm.

At UH Transfer Day, KCC representatives will provide hands-on assistance with the “auto-admission” application process, and answer questions about college offerings, requirements, tuition costs, and financial aid. We have setup program-specific info sessions, meet-and-greet faculty opportunities, and other activities for students transitioning from a community college to a four-year university.
