Kapi‘olani Community College will be the venue for the 2014 World Indigenous
Peoples’ Conference on Education (WIPCE) from May 19-24, 2014. The WIPCE
conference is held every three years in different countries ranging from 500 to 4000
attendees.

  • 1987 – Zwemelchstn, Canada – (500 attendees)
  • 1990 – Turanga, New Zealand – (1,800 attendees)
  • 1993 – Wollongong, Australia – (2,000 attendees)
  • 1996 – Alburquerque, New Mexico – (1,200 attendees)
  • 1999 – Hilo, Hawaii at UHH – (2,000 attendees)
  • 2002 – Alberta, Canada – (1,000 attendees)
  • 2005 – Hamilton, New Zealand – (4,000 attendees)
  • 2008 – Melbourne, Australia – (2,500 attendees)
  • 2011 – Cusco, Peru – (800 attendees)
  • 2014 – Kapi‘olani Community College

Because of the potential size of this conference, we will not be providing facilities or
bookings for other meetings, courses, or conferences from May 19 – 24, 2014.
