Cost of Attendance

Kapiʻolani Community College utilizes standard budgets that are updated annually by the Office of the Vice President of Student Affairs at the University of Hawaiʻi. The budgets are a reflection of the changes in the national cost of living figures and local community costs. The cost of attendance includes more than the items the student pays to the institution.

How is your need determined?

   Cost of Attendance (COA)
–  Expected Family Contribution (EFC)
=  Demonstrated Financial Need

By law, federal aid recipients cannot receive more than their Cost of Attendance.
