The Nursing Information Session covers nursing program admissions requirements (courses and pre-admissions exam), the application process, selection criteria, program cost and other additional information to assist students with preparing for application for the various nursing programs offered at Kapi‘olani Community College.

The Nursing Information Sessions are also offered online and may be viewed in segments depending on topics of interest. Students are encouraged to view and listen to all or specific topics of interest as referenced below, ultimately clicking on the desired topic(s) of interest.

Live Information Sessions

The Nursing Information Sessions are offered LIVE!! through Zoom. Sessions are scheduled at various times once a month. The Zoom sessions will offer interested students an opportunity to learn more about the various nursing programs as well as meet with a nursing department counselor/advisor and ask questions about the various nursing programs. Registration through Zoom is required to join the session(s)

 

Academic Advising: STAR Balance Nursing Kiosk

The Nursing Counselors offer drop-in advising (no appointment needed) virtually through Zoom or by phone using the STAR Balance Nursing Kiosk on:

  • Tuesdays 9:00 am – 12:00 pm (HST)
  • Wednesdays 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm (HST)

STAR Balance Nursing Kiosk is available for UH system students. For information about our nursing programs, attend a nursing information session. Email kapstart@hawaii.edu for assistance with getting started at Kapiʻolani CC.
