The Title III program leadership team is seeking applications for a Title III program manager who will fulfill the following duties:

 

  • Under the general supervision of the Culture and Place-Based Campus Learning Coordinator, the Grant Manager is responsible for overall coordination of the activities and reporting of the college’s Title III Collaborative Grant – Kukalahale: Building an Indigenous-Serving Institution Through Professional Development.
  • Assist in the management and oversight of grant staff members – two Indigenous Education Specialists and student employees.
  • Assist in the development and coordination of all outlined grant activities which includes: implementing seminars, workshops, and training opportunities focused on indigenous Hawaiian education frameworks and methodologies for faculty, administrators, and staff that support student success.
  • The Grant Manager will work in collaboration with faculty and staff in the Hawaiian Programs Division that includes the Hawaiian Center at Honolulu Community College (HonCC) and with faculty and staff at Kapi‘olani Community College (KapCC).
  • Collaborate with student services, academic support, instruction and community based organizations to fulfill grant objectives.
  • Conduct assessment and evaluation of grant activities with support from Principal Investigators.
  • Prepare reports as required by grant funders – Department of Education – in conjunction with Principal Investigators.
  • Monitor grant budget, records, and personnel management.
