Kapi‘olani CC Student
I am from Okinawa, Japan. My educational goal is to earn a Bachelorʻs Degree in Asian Studies at UHM. I habve been working at the cafeterial on campus and studying hard to maintain my GPA above 3.3
Exchange Student
I am from Gangwon, Korea. I came to Kapi‘olani CC as an exchange student for 1 semester from one of many Kapi‘olani partner instututions. After graduating from my college in Korea, I would like to return to Kapi‘olani CC to continue my studies.
OPT Internship Student
I am from Yokohama, Japan. I graduated with a Certificate of Achievemet in Travel & Tourism. I am currently doing OPT employment at a local travel agency in Hawai‘i. After OPT. I will return to Kapi‘olani CC and complete my A.S. Degree in Tourism. Then I will do a second OPT employment.
University Transfer Student
I am from Hyogo, Japan. I went to Kapi‘olani CC for 2 years where I studied Liberal Arts. I transferred to UHM through the Ka‘ie‘ie Program and received a transfer scholarship for my GPA. I am now in my last semester at UHM where I will receive my Bachelorʻs Degree for International business.
