The Kuilei Outreach Program at Kapi‘olani Community College (Kapi‘olani CC) will provide student services that promote cooperative successful transition into Kapi‘olani CC.
Goals
The Kuilei Outreach Program is a college transition pathway program that strives to promote cooperative, successful connections, transitions and educational experiences for students who choose to continue their education at Kapi‘olani CC. The Program serves all high schools with an emphasis on Kapi‘olani CC’s feeder high schools which are Farrington, Kaimuki, Kaiser, Kalani, McKinley, Moanalua and Roosevelt High School, in addition to schools and agencies that support GED, HiSET, and adult age students. The Program also supports postsecondary awareness opportunities with Oahu’s Department of Education (DOE) Middle and Intermediate Schools. Services through the Program include high touch student support services that assist prospective students to successfully complete the admissions, testing, enrollment, registration and financial aid processes; complete their academic goals; and reduce the time to degree completion through initiatives like Campus Tours, high school and middle school visits, and dual credit opportunities.
