Business, Legal, and Technology Education

The Business, Legal, and Technology Education (BLT) Department is designed to provide you with an excellent academic and skills-based education to get you started in three dynamic areas: Information Technology, Accounting, and Paralegal/Legal Assistant. These programs provide students the opportunity to discover your personal, academic and career strengths.  Each program is distinct, and will share with you the professional qualities required in that field and provide you with a deep background in theory and practice to help you succeed in your future academic and career path.

In addition to the strong academic background, each program provides skills to apply your knowledge and test yourselves before you go out into the field. Each program offers an internship-type capstone course where you will practice your skills in a real-world law office, accounting firm, or IT department.

In addition to being designed to qualify you for entry level positions in each field, each program also has an “articulation agreement” that offers you the option to smoothly transfer to a four-year university as a junior to complete a bachelor’s degree. Our faculty are trained professionals in their respective fields: attorneys, paralegals, accountant, and IT specialists. We invite you to contact us to discuss the exciting options in the BLT department!
