The 2022 – 2023 Commencement will be on Friday, May 12, 2023. Commencement will be at the brand new Diamond Head Theater!
We will be announcing specific times after we finalize registration and know how many graduates will be participating.

IMPORTANT THINGS to NOTE:

  • You MUST register, no walk-ins allowed for Commencement!

  • You MUST wear a cap and gown, you can purchase this at https://www.bookstore.hawaii.edu/uhkcc/. The 2023 tassel is not available at this time, it will be available in mid-April.

  • You will be allowed 2 guests ONLY, this is due to the space limitation in Diamond Head Theater but additional guests will be able to wait outside, after the ceremony. You are able to ask your fellow graduates if they have tickets they will not be using.

  • Your diploma will NOT be given at the Commencement Ceremony, it will be mailed to you DIRECTLY as long as you have filled out the Application for Diploma/Certificate. For any questions regarding your diploma, please email kapgrad@hawaii.edu
