Join CERENE and KSSL in partnership with the Diamond Head State Monument Foundation.

Saturday, June 7⋅9:00am – 12:30pm
Muriel Flanders Park – Diamond Head State Monument

What to bring:
✅ 🧢 Hat – Stay shaded!
✅ 🕶️ Sunglasses – Protect your eyes!
✅ 💧 Reusable Water Bottle – Stay hydrated!
✅ 🧴 Sunscreen (SPF 50+ recommended) – Shield from the sun!
✅ 👟 Closed-Toe Shoes – For safety & comfort!
✅ 🧤 Gardening Gloves (if you have them) – We have some you can use if needed.
✅ 🍎 Light Snack – Keep your energy up! Optional:

CERENE is a community-based applied research center located at Kapi’olani Community College dedicated to making O’ahu more resilient! CERENE works in collaboration with the City and County of Honolulu Office of Climate Change, Sustainability and Resiliency as well as the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa along with a network of engaged community collaborators such as the Waikīkī Community Center, Ko’olauloa Community Resilience Center, “We are Oceania”, and many others.
