Event Details

Workshops are designed to increase the Hawaiian ecological and ancestral knowledge of cultivating and utilizing Hawaiian flora for cultural, provisional (food and medicine), and educational resources through traditional practices.

This two part series will focus on the ancestral knowledge of Kaulana Mahina: Keeping Time Through the Lunar Sequence. This knowledge can empower individuals to build more resilient lifestyles by strengthening their connections to the universe. Part ONE is structured as an introduction to time keeping through analyzing the moon phases and their environmental influences based on temporal and spatial physics in Hawaiian skies.
