Kapiʻolani Community College was successful in applying for eligibility to participate in the Title III Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian serving institutions programs in FY20.

KCC will submit funding proposals for Title III ANNH Part F and A programs when the RFPs are announced within the next week. The Title III strategy team, led by Chancellor and Nāwaʻa are working diligently to develop competitive funding opportunities to enhance our campus infrastructure to improve Native Hawaiian student success through fall-to-fall persistence, transfer, and graduation.

Eligibility letter from U.S. Department Of Education – A Title III eligibility letter is important because federal agencies will often limit eligibility for certain funding programs to institutions of higher education that received Title III eligibility.

The list of UH campuses eligible for ANNH funding is posted publicly at the UH Office of Research Services website.

The Shared Services Center staff is available for consultations on developing funding proposals. Please visit us in ʻŌhiʻa 103B, or send us a note at kccgo@hawaii.edu.
