Over 60 Scholarships. Only 1 Common Application

Kapiʻolani Community College (Kapiʻolani CC) administers over 60 different scholarships. Additionally, there are numerous University of Hawaiʻi System scholarships that Kapiʻolani CC students can apply for. Yet most students only need to fill out one common scholarship application. Awards are made available by the generosity of private individuals and organizations who wish to reward students for various accomplishments, such as academic achievement, service to the school and community, leadership ability, first-generation college attendance, and specific major/career choices. This UH System Common Scholarship Application is made available in November and the APPLICATION DEADLINE is MARCH 1st.

Eligibility

Criteria for selection vary depending on the area of study. In general, scholarships are awarded based on financial need, not necessarily as defined by federal guidelines. Many also have a minimum grade point average requirement. The availability of scholarships administered by Kapi‘olani Community College varies from year to year.
