On July 27th 2018, the Title III Shared Services Center took a tour of the newly built and completely grant-funded Hawaiian rare plant Micropropagation Lab, located at the Lyon Arboretum.
Student Assistant Devon Gordon (depicted above) showed the team how endangered Native Hawaiian plant species are grown in the lab.
From there, botanists and land managers work with requests from the community to plant certain endangered species back into the wild.
The Title III Shared Services Center supports Professional Development for faculty and staff, while striving to create a smoother, more efficient, central grants office – focused on providing excellent customer service.
