Another $1 million in federal funding is on the way!
Kapiāolani Community College submitted its application for the second installment of funding from the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund.Ā Congratulations to Vice Chancellor FurutoĀ for taking the initiativeĀ to be prepared for the second wave of CARES Act funding.
The federal aid under the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund will be provided in two waves.Ā The first wave will provide more roughly $1 million for emergency assistance to students. Further detailsĀ on the criteria for distributing this financial assistance is forthcoming from Student Affairs. The second wave of funding will cover operational costs for expenses resulting from response to the coronavirus.
